How we turned an idea into a sold out launch in a month
We founded Peppermeid to give people and especially women a safer feeling on the street with fully legal protection products. Within a month we sold out, which shows clearly that the need is real and urgent. Each quarter we donate five percent of our net profit to a charity that fights femicide because safety should be supported by real action.

When we came up with the idea for Peppermeid, the mission was clear. We wanted to bring a legal and effective personal safety solution to the market as quickly as possible, one that felt honest and dependable. We built everything from the store to the purchase orders to the marketing campaigns.
We handled everything from sourcing to shaping the brand identity. We reviewed packaging options, set up basic quality checks, and negotiated directly with suppliers. We also partnered with a fulfilment provider to make sure orders are handled smoothly and reliably. On the digital side we built the e commerce flow, clarified the core message, and created a consistent brand presence that respects the traditional roots of simple self defense tools.
The biggest challenge was entering a competitive space without leaning on fear based marketing. We chose a transparent and honest tone that respected the customer. This helped position Peppermeid as good alternative to illegal products such as pepperspray. That straightforward approach built credibility and drew in buyers who wanted something legal and effective.
In the coming months we will keep fine tuning Peppermeid and strengthening the marketing strategy. It is still a work in progress, but the mission has never changed. Give people a safer feeling and support charities along the way.
