Founding Growth Lead

You love selling a strong story, and you also know how to reach the right people yourself. As founding growth lead you set up the lead pipeline together with us: you decide which clients we want to reach, build outbound flows with tools like Clay and n8n, and then run the conversations that lead to deals. You work freelance, but close to the team, with your own workspace at the office and all the room to set your own rhythm.

About Datagrove

Datagrove is a development and engineering agency in Amsterdam, founded in 2025 by Sion Coolwijk. We build websites, platforms, mobile apps and AI workflows for SMBs and scale-ups, with the speed of modern AI tools and the knowledge of senior developers. We work from an office on the Herengracht, with a network of entrepreneurial people around it who step in where needed.

We are looking for an independent professional who does not wait for leads but knows how to find them, and who shapes the pipeline their own way together with us.

What you do

This is not a role where you wait for the phone to ring. You take the entire top of the funnel: you decide which clients we target, build the outbound machine that reaches them and then run the conversations yourself. We do not have a ready-made lead feed yet, so you get the freedom to set one up the way you see fit.

  • Decide which client segments we want to reach and build targeted lists for them.
  • Set up and automate outbound flows with tools like Clay and n8n.
  • Work with offshore developers to build and improve the lead pipeline technically.
  • Run conversations with prospects, translate the tech into value and close deals.
  • Sion is available to spar on substance and joins client conversations when it helps.

Who we are looking for

You have already shown you can sell in tech, software or digital, and you know how to source leads yourself. Experience with outbound tooling like Clay is a big plus. More importantly: you are entrepreneurial, self-reliant and results make you happy. You like working freelance and enjoy a model where your effort pays off directly.

  • Demonstrable experience with sales in tech, software or digital.
  • You know how to build a lead pipeline yourself; experience with Clay or similar tooling is a plus.
  • You understand computer systems and AI well enough to talk about it with clients.
  • You are self-reliant, entrepreneurial and driven by results.
  • You like working freelance and enjoy a commission model.
  • You have a registered KvK (Dutch Chamber of Commerce).
